Some of us who need extra support have a hard time getting to appointments precisely because we are stressed out, ill, or overwhelmed. My services take place in your home, whether we meet via videoconference, or I travel to meet you. I am currently offering individual counseling and group coaching (see Groups section). Group coaching is a way to get support and learn skills, and is not a replacement for mental health therapy.
I work effectively with adults, teens and kids to provide supportive counseling and coaching for life challenges. I believe in building on our inner strengths using education, acceptance, energy work, and personalized strategies based on my clients' willingness and abilities.
I have a collaborative approach, using strategies to build self-esteem and enhance our ability to cope with stress. I have experience working with gender issues, struggling teens, those with chronic mental health issues and individuals with chronic physical illness.
As your ally, my goal is to help you develop self-compassion, manage your stress, and help you gain the skills and resources you need to feel secure and safe -- no matter what life brings.
